Upcoming SharePoint Community Events

I’ll be participating in a few SharePoint Community Events over the next few weeks, for those interested the details are below.

Wednesday 28th April (5pm – 6pm GMT) Online
SharePoint MVP Expert MSDN Chat
This is a new idea, and will be interesting to see how it goes. The general idea is for you to fling your questions about SharePoint 2010 at the panel of SharePoint MVP “experts”. A free online event via MSDN.

Wednesday 5th May (5.30pm till whenever) Microsoft, Waverly Gate Edinburgh
SUGUK Edinburgh
Another Edinburgh SharePoint User Group UK meeting, this time at Microsoft’s swanky new pad next to the station. I’ll be talking about the new Service Application Architecture and Scaling for SharePoint 2010. Jess Meats will be talking about Workflow. Half time refreshments will be provided and there will be a SharePint afterwards. This is a free event, but you must register.

Saturday 8th May (3pm GMT) Online
SPSaturday Philly (Virtually)
A SharePoint Saturday event put together by my mate Dave Mann. I’ll be doing one session, again on the new Architecture and Scaling (remotely from Edinburgh) I’ve done a couple remote web casts before, it will be interesting to see how it plays out. Lets hope Lumison doesn’t shaft me. Just so you know I don’t usually do SharePoint on Saturdays, but Dave twisted my arm.

After these events, don’t expect to see or hear much of me for a while (yes I can hear you cheering in the back) as I will be going dark as I undertake the SharePoint 2010 Microsoft Certified Master and a few other personal obligations which have been sidelined during the crazy work schedule leading up to the RTM of SharePoint 2010.
